Why we built NextKBeauty
A lot of the K-beauty products Americans love were bestsellers in Korea a year or two before they showed up in US feeds. We wanted a way to see that coming.
How it works
Each month we look at how interest in Korean beauty brands is moving in Korea, using Korean search and shopping trend data. The brands doing better than their peers get a closer look. Then we check US Google Trends and keep the ones that are still small here. The details, backtest included, are on the methodology page.
The raw Korean platform data is only used to make the picks. We don't republish it.
What we don't do
We don't review products we haven't used, and we don't take money from brands to be listed. Nothing here is medical or skincare advice. If a product sounds right for you, check the ingredients and reviews from people who've actually used it.
